REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
 
PLEASE NOTE: Oral presentations will be heard by the Site Selection Committee and written documentation will be processed at the annual conference only. Regretfully, we do not accept mailed proposals.
 
Please take 5 copies of written proposal for each of the 5-member Site Selection Committee. You will be asked to make a 15-minute oral presentation at the Site Selection Committee meeting.
 
To schedule your presentation, you must be a registered participant. Please send email to site@cimpa.org for more information.

Arrival at Conference Site on Thursday

Saturday and Sunday: 
9:00 AM - 11:00 Noon
General Session room for 250
11:30 AM - 2:00 PM - Ballroom with space for 50
tabletops for exhibits and luncheon tables of  8 for 250 people.
2:00 PM - 5:30 PM - 4 breakout rooms

IMPORTANT: Please indicate what the hotel and tourist board or convention bureau can offer by way of sponsorships. (Normally, hosting promotional luncheon in preceding conference and a Welcome Luncheon at the current conference) Advertising support is required  Please email specs@cimpa.org if you have any questions.
 
HOW TO BID for future conferences
1. Register for current conference
2. Send an email to site@cimpa.org indicating that you wish to be scheduled for a site presentation. A 15-minute time slot will be assigned to you
3. Take 5 copies of your proposal to the conference. Submit them at the registration desk when you claim your credentials.
4. Make your presentation on the scheduled date.
 
PLEASE NOTE: The site selection committee will vote but no decision will be made onsite.  A web survey will be conducted shortly after the conference. Final decision will be made by the Executive Committee as early as possible but no later than 10 months before the event.
 
Destinations which are not selected are welcome to make an updated presentation for the succeeding year at the next meeting.
