Corbin Ball, CMP is a consultant and writer helping clients worldwide use technology to save time and improve productivity. With 20 years of experience running international technology meetings, he now is a highly acclaimed and sought after speaker with the ability to make complex subjects understandable and fun.  He is the technology columnist for 5 publications and serves on numerous hotel, corporate and association boards. He was recently was named as one of "The 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry" by MeetingNews Magazine.
 
Barbara Ann Cox, CMP established Meeting Makers Inc. in August, 1994, a firm that offers meeting consultation, full service conference management and promotional materials design. During her 19 years in the meetings industry, Barbara Ann managed conferences for the Florida Association of Insurance Agents and the Florida Department of Education¹s Florida Educational Technology Conference, which hosted over  12,000 participants. She was named one of the ³Meeting Industry Pros To Watch in 2001² by ConventionSouth magazine.  
Jim Fausel, CMP, CMM - Co-Chair of ITMIC '99 is the founding President of the Arizona Society of Government Meeting Planners chapter and has worked with government meetings for over 21 years. Currently, he is president of The Conference Connection, which provides comprehensive meeting management service both nationally and internationally. He is an experienced trainer and teaches a Meetings Management course at Arizona State University. His credits include being selected as Meeting Planner of the Year in Arizona on two occasions and was the first North American to be certified by MPI in its CMM (Certificate in Meeting Management ) program. As we go to press, Jim was awarded the Sam Gilmer Meeting Professional of the Year Award by the Society of Government Meeting Planners.
 
Diane Fausel  has over 25 years in management and training experience and has authored inspirational footnotes entitled "Hopefuls", a guide to   positive thinking.  She has trained across the United States on the topic of Board Communication and Development and also presented   workshops in the Amazon.  She currently is director of the Office of Youth Initiatives for Mesa United Way in Arizona and is Vice President of the Conference Connection.  
 
Dahlia El Gazzar is currently marketing director of Passkey based in Massachusetts, a meeting planner resource that hosts a live group reservation system throughout the housing process, accessible 24/7 to meeting planners, participating hotels, CVBs, and housing and travel suppliers. Dahlia spent more than 6 years in the Sinai, Egypt working with several major hotel chains to promote the destination worldwide.  A cum laude graduate of UMass (Amherst), Dahlia returned to the US in 1998 to join McKay Communications.  

JEANNE ALLERT is Founder and CEO of Ellipsis Partners (www.ellipsispartners.com), an Internet consulting firm that provides strategy, education, technology and marketing support to associations, nonprofit organizations and the industries that serve them. Jeanne is also Adjunct Professor for the Loyola College in Baltimore where she teaches Internet Marketing and lectures on eCommerce.  Prior to Ellipsis, Jeanne was President and CEO of an Internet company that built online communities and forged e-commerce relationships between the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.

As Director of Program Design for the Caliber Learning Network, Jeanne led instructional designers, web developers, and television producers to create an integrated, multi-platform approach to distance learning. Under her management at Caliber, the design team was awarded “Best Distance Learning Program for Corporate Audiences” and the company was recognized as the “Most Significant Advance in Distance Learning,” in 1998.

As the Information Systems Director at the American Association of Retired Persons, she led the full range of I.S. services including systems analysis, strategic planning, automation studies, technology research, technical training, and help desk services. Before AARP, Ms Allert was the designer of technical training courseware for the U.S. Intelligence Communities. She also owned and operated a distance learning consulting practice that served the Federal Government, education, corporations and national associations.

Jeanne holds a Masters of Education and Bachelor of Arts degree and has served as a public school teacher, adult educator, and technical trainer. She is a frequent international speaker and regular contributor to technical and managerial publications. In 1996 she was named “One of the Top 100 Women in Computing” by McGraw Hill Publishers and awarded the title of “Outstanding Woman of Technology” in Washington, D.C.  Ann Godi, CMP is President of Benchmarc Meetings & Incentives, a conference, meetings, events and incentive management company located in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia. Benchmarc clients include Fortune International Companies as well as National and Regional Associations. Ann is on the board of the Georgia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International.

 
MARGARET GONZALEZ is the President of the International Association of Hispanic Meeting Professionals. She is also the owner of a public relations firm that organizes meetings for various associations.
 
Joan Gross is Manager of Conference Office, Faculty of Medicine at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She has specialized in medical conferences for more than 25 years.   Joan lectures worldwide on computer-based conference management and was North America's first PCO to be ISO-9002 registered. She has been a past Council member of IAPCO (International Association of Professional Congress Organizers (IAPCO) was the founding president of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Canadian Chapter, Montreal.
 
Dr. H. Stanley Jones, CAE,CPA,CSP is an international consultant and professional speaker. He is the author of three books entitled:Quality of Life -- Achieving Balance in an Unbalanced World, Marketing Your Financial Planning Services; Planning Your Financial Future. He is an expert on Myers-Briggs Personality Test. 
 
MERLE MANZI, CMP  is Executive Director of S M & C  Sciences, Inc. A former criminal investigator for the State of Florida, Merle Manzi served most of his government service career in an investigative law enforcement capacity until 1989 when he transitioned to the training and program management field.  In that role he handled curriculum development and coordination of training..  Merle has a MS in Criminal Justice from Rollins College.  His meeting management background includes planning, coordinating and delivering training programs and conferences throughout the U.S., Asia and Europe. Merle was the SGMP Florida Capital Chapter President, Vice Chair of the National Educational Foundation and CMP Seminar leader.    
 
Emanuel Payton  has a Bachelors of Arts in Computer Science, Diploma in Naval Warfare, is completing a Masters in International Relations from Salve Regina University and is a Certified Information System Security Representative (CISSR) and Certified Disaster Recovery Planner. He is owner and founder of PAE Consulting and currently is a Technical Solutions Consultant for Sprint Enterprise Network Services specializing in Information Security. 
 
Heidi Richards has been an entrepreneur for over 25 years. Her first business endeavor was an empty building she quickly transformed into a 24 hour- 7 day a week child care center, which grew to full capacity in less than 1 year. In 1991 Ms. Richards was named a Small Business Person of the Year in South Florida and in 1997 was recognized as a National Top Ten Business Woman by the American Business Women's Association.
 
Ed Scannell, CSP,CMP has served on the Board of Directors of a number of groups, including the Tempe Chamber of Commerce, American Society of Training and Development, Meeting Professionals International and the National Speakers Association. His best selling book, "Games Trainers Play" series are used by speakers, trainers and meeting planners around the world.
 

Angela Sheen is an experienced Human Resources Consultant and Trainer who has specialized in Recruitment and Selection and Career Counseling. A member of the British Psychological Society, she is particularly interested in helping people to understand their own motivators and how to overcome de-motivators. Angela established ASA Consultancy and Training in 1994 after a successful career with the National Westminster Bank in the UK.  Angela is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a Member of the Institute of Management. She also holds a post graduate certificate in Entrepreneurship Training and Small Business Development.

ANDREA SIGLER, PhD, CIMP is the President of Connected International Meeting Professionals Association. CIMPA is a growing community of online planners who use the resources of the internet in planning meetings. As past President of the International University of Distance Studies, Dr. Sigler and her group have been using what was then called ARPAnet before it became popularly known as the internet. A certified webmaster, she led the development effort for the CIMP (Certified Internet Meeting Professional) Certification Program and is co-author of the book "STOP THE NET. I'M GETTING ON (How To Plan Meetings On The Internet)". Dr. Sigler is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Hispanic Meeting Professionals, Distance Learning Association and Vice President of the Pacific Asia Travel Writers Association.
 
SUSAN KEMP-VISSARI, CMP  is Senior Conference Manager     of  S M & C  Sciences, Inc.  A Senior Consultant with Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Susan Kemp-Vissari has over 11 years of professional experience in the meetings and training industries.  Her experience was gained by performing services for commercial clients and federal government agencies.   Susan has a BS in Business Management from the University of Maryland.  In addition, she is pursuing a Certification in Trade Show Marketing. In her present employment, she develops and presents training programs for Booz, Allen & Hamilton clients and provides training and conference management support for SM&C Sciences.
