DIVERSITY CAMP AT BUSCH GARDENS

Diversity Camp will end with a BANG at Busch Gardens Williamburg - every child's (young and old) fun paradise.

Monday, August 14: Our last day will start with Sunrise Yoga, Tai-Chi or a last quiet walk in the woods. After a sumptuous Virginia breakfast. campers will board the ferry for the 15-minute ride to Williamsburg. Soon, we will be entering the gates of this magical fantasy land.

Busch Gardens is an action-packed, European-themed adventure park with 17th-century charm and 21st-century technology, boasting over 100 acres of unparalleled fun and excitement for the entire family.

“Emerald Beat” at the Abbey Stone Theatre
Busch Gardens Williamsburg joins forces with Dublin-based O’Shea’s School of Irish Dance, the creative talent behind “Irish Thunder,” for an all-new, powerful production that continues the celebration of Irish heritage through uniquely choreographed dance and original music score. Breathtaking scenic special effects. Exquisitely-designed lighting enhancements. Powerful dance elements. The cast of 20 features 14 dancers, two vocalists and four musicians. Do not miss this amazing Emerald Isle extravaganza.

Curse of DarKastle: The Ride
Busch Gardens is taking Curse of DarKastle to a new intensity in 2006. Thrill seekers will be elated to discover added thematic startles throughout the harrowing experience.

The Ride generates a multi-sensory experience unlike anything else. Winner of a prestigious THEA Award in 2005, Curse of DarKastle’s pulse-pounding ride integrates elaborate theming, 3-D visuals and special effects that push the envelope of theme park technology.

“Kinetix” at the Royal Place Theatre
Summer nights jump to life at the Royal Palace Theatre as an all-new circus takes center stage. This high-energy entertainment showcases human athleticism and performance artistry set to a rocking musical score.

Summer Concert Series
Busch Gardens Williamsburg is inaugurating an all-new summer concert series beginning Memorial Day weekend. From rocking honky-tonk to crooning country, Motown medleys and kid concerts, the European-themed park is the place to be for summertime family entertainment.
